AN ORDINANCE A14ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 283 OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GA.TOS ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING TRANSACTION AND CARRY-
ING ON OF CERTAIN BUSINESSES, TRADES; PROFESSIONS, CALLINGS
AND OCCUPATIONS IN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
RAISING MUNICIPAL REVENUE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF"".
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ordain as
f ollows:
Section 1. That Section 30, subsection (b) of Ordinance
No. 283 entitled, #AN ORDINANCE LICENSING TRANSACTION AND
CARRYING ON OF CERTAIri BUSINESSES, TRADES, PROFESSIONS, CALLINGS
AND OCCUPATIONS IN THE TOWS OF LOS GATOS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
RAISING MUNICIPAL REVENUE AND PROVIDII4G A PENALTY FOR THE VIO-
LATION THEREOF", passed and adopted by the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos on the second day of June, 194'7, be, and the
same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
Section 30. AUTOMOBILES AND AUTO COURTS. Every person
transacting and carrying on the businesses herein enumbrated
shall pay an annual license tax as follows:
(b) Auto Courts. Every person engaged in the business
o conducting an auto camp; motor court, motel, auto trailer
camp, or similar business at which Cabins or rooms or sleeping
accomodations or stalls for the parking 6f-trailers are rented,
shall pay-an annual license tax of $15.00 where there are ten
(10) or less units in such business; and an additional annual
license tax of one dollar ($1.00) for each unit above ten.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the'"Town

of Los Gatos held on the 15th day of December, 3947, and was
ther4after on Monday, the 5th day of January, 1948, duly and
regularly adopted by the following vote:
