AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY AND ESTABLISHING THE
DU'T'IES OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR.
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Building Inspector shall receive a salary
of $210.00 per month as his compensation and mileage at the rate
of eight cents (8¢) per mile, and said salary and mileage may be
=-raised or lowered by resolution of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be -in
force from and after October 1, 194x7.
SECTION 3. The Building Inspector shall enforce the
Uniform Building Code and act as gas inspector; plumbing inspector;
and electrical inspector; and in addition, have the duty of
investigating and reporting to the health officer for the Tumn
of Los Gatos any violations of the laws affecting the health,
safety, and general welfare.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published once in the
Los Gatos Times, a newspaper of general circulation,. printed and
published in the Town of Los Gatos.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
'gown of Los Gatos, held September 15, 1947, and passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
held on the 6th day of October, 1947, by the following vote:
