AN ORDII-WiCE ESTABLISHING A CITY PLANNI1tNG CO lISSION.
The Torn Council of the Town of Los Gatos do ordain as follows:
`section 1.- A City Planning Commission is hereby created for the Town of Los Gatos
to consist of nine members, as provided by an act of the Legislature of the State of
California entitled n An act to provide for the establishment of official master plans
and the appointment of planning commissions in cities, cities and counties, and
counties; prescribing the manner of adoption of such plans, prtions thereof, amendments
thereto and composition thereof; prescribing the powers and duties of such commissions;
providing for the trahsfe-r thereto of the powers and duties of other planning
commissions; providing for the preparation, adoption and recordati.n of precise
street plans; providing for the control and the construction of buildings within
the lines of streets shown on such precise st eet plans; providing for the levy
of a special tax for the .support of a planning coz!ission and other acts pursuant
to this act and making certain expehditl.=es legal charges against the funds of
the cities,cities and counties, and counties and regional planning commissions;
providing for the establishment by cities, cities and counties, and counties of
including
regional planning commissions,/two or more cities, cities and counties,or counties,
or a portion or portions thereof, or both; making certain acts misdemeanors;
and repealing other acts in conflict herewith'

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the `own of Los
Gatos, held on the 19- h day of Suly, 1937 by the following votes
