The Board of 'Prusteee of the Town of I,os [}etas do ordain as

Section 1: Seatipn 9, of ordinance '75, is amended to read as
follows:
Tt is hp~eby dea7,ared unlawful for ~riy dClg, not duly laenaed
and regis~te~ed in aeas~rdance with the provisions of this ordinance,
to run or be s.t large in sny of the streets,. lanes or alleys,aourta
or places, ar public grotu~ds~ in the Toum, of Los Gato$; and it is
hereby made the duty of the pound~rnaster to take up and impound any
dog not licensed and registered, found running at large in any

street.., lane, alley, aoux~t, or p1~t~~ub~.ia grounds in said Town, and
to notify the owner thereof, if knownq Any dog so impounded may
be re deemed by the owner or poa€~essor of tY~; sax~ie within three days
after being impounded, or after notice, when notice is given, upon
the payment to said pound-master of the sue of two dollars for im-^
pounding, a,ard ten cents each day for keeping the samEt, All dogs
not re de~•r~ed as herein provided shall be sold or killed by the
pound-master, and arty licensed and rega.gtered dog found running at
large without a tag as required by law shall be taken by the pound*-
master to the Pound, and if claimed by the owner within three days,
the pound-master shall be entitled to roaeive the sum of one dollar
from tho owner or possessor thereof as a fee for impounding the same
And all doge impounded a,nd unalaimsd and not intended to be ~~
sold by the pound-master within three days shall be killed and bury
ied in the Town burial grounds for deed animals by the Pound-mastw
sr, and he sha11 be entitled to reeive. from the City the sum of one

Any person desiring a dog to run at large shall pay in advance

Section 2Y All ordinancet~, and parts of Ordinances, in con-
flict with this ordinance, are hereby repealed,
