AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15 -76 OF THE TOWN
CODE RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION TAX RATES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 15 -76 of the Town Code is hereby amended as follows:
"Section 15 -76. Tax Rates
The taxes imposed by this article are:
Effective to April 30, 1982:
(a) Capital improvement tax:
1. $.10 for each square foot of floor area of building.
2. $.10 for each square foot of building addition or
alterations which increases the floor area of an
existing building.
(b) Underground utility tax:
1. $.30 for each square foot of building.
2. $.30 for each square foot of building addition or
alteration which increases the floor area of an
existing building.
Effective May 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983:
(a) Capital improvement tax:
1. $.40 for each square foot of building addition or
alterations which increases the floor area of an
existing building.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted.
Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause
it to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and
circulated in the Town.
This Ordinance was dull* and regularly introduced at a regular meeting
of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on the lst day of March ,
1982. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the lath _ day of March , 1982, by the
following vote:
