OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION, AND DIRECTING
14AILING NOTICE=; IN SUW -1ARY PROCEEDINGS, UNDER
DIVISION 4 OF THE STREET; AND HIGHWAYS CODE.
EDELEN AND BENTLEY AVENUES
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
Santa Clara County, Callfornia, that the public interest and
convenience require and that it is the intention of this Council
to acquire and construct certain improvements in and for said
Town, the general nature, location and extent of which are as
follows:
1. That Edelen Avenue between Miles Avenue and
Bentley Avenue, and Bentley Avenue between Edelen Avenue
and University Avenue, including intersections, be improved
by grading and constructing therein water -bound rock
macadam base pavement with asphalt concrete wearing surface,
cement concrete monolithic vertical face Grubs and gutters, storm
drain pipe and standard catch basins, and vitrified clay
pipe house laterals, in accordance with standard plans and
specifications of said Town on file in the office of its
Town Clerk.
2. The cost of said work after contributions, will be
assessed upon a district benefited, the exterior boundaries of
which are the coterminous exterior boundary of the composite
of land abutting orn said proposed improvements, a map of which
is on file in the office of the Town Cier't.
3. That tine Town will contribute the costs of storm
dra].nage facilities and. ir..terceptor sewsraa, aad a pro ratee portion
of the cost of the paving work in the percentage that the moneys
to be received .rom gas tax funds for paving work to be done on
Loma Alta Avenue, M riposaQ Avenue and university Avenue, beaur€,
to the total cost of paving, work to be Done on said streetc and
also on Euclid revenue, Edelen Avenue, Bentley Avenue, WraiKht
avenue, Bird Avenue, Cheater Street, Woodland Avenue, Saratoga

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly adopted by the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos at a regular meeting thereof hold on the 15th day
