A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 1982 -143 AND
ESTABLISHING A NEW FALSE ALARM SERVICE CHARGE
BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to
Town Code Section 34.40.10, that there is imposed an escalating service charge
upon every owner who reports, causes to be or permits to be reported, three or
more false alarms within a six month period in the amount as follows:
Third False Alarm $75.00
Fourth False Alarm $150.00
Fifth False Alarm $250.00
Sixth and subsequent false alarms: The service charge
shall be increased by $250.00 for each activation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1982 -143 is hereby
rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of February
1989 by the following vote.

Robert L. Hamilton, Brent N. Ventura,
Joanne Benjamin.
