A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS ENGLEWOOD AVENUE #4
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California
that
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation to the Town of Los Gatos consisting
of all that unincorporated territory designated as Englewood Avenue #4 Annexa-
tion, located along Kennedy Road and Englewood Avenue in the County of Santa
Clara is proposed for annexation to the Town of Los Gatos pursuant to Part 2 of
Title 4, Division 3, commencing with Section 56000 et seq. of the Government
Code;
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has received a petition signed by all
the owners of land within the territory to be annexed, and pursuant to Section
56837 of the Government Code, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos may
initiate proceedings to annex said territory without notice, hearing or elec-
tion, in the manner described in Section 57002 of the Government Code of the
State of California, and make the following findings:
1. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA Class #15119(a).
2. The territory is "Uninhabited" as defined in Section 56046 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that these findings are correct, and
the territory proposed for annexation is situated in the unincorporated area of
the County of Santa Clara, and is contiguous with the municipal boundaries of
the Town of Los Gatos.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal
corporation of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to
the provisions of Sections 56837 and 57002 of the Government Code of the State
of California, the annexation to the Town of Los Gatos of that territory desig-
nated as Englewood Avenue #4, and described in real property description and
map attached hereto, marked Exhibits "A" and "B ", respectively, is approved,
and that the same be annexed to the town of Los Gatos.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of these annexation proceedings
the territory annexed will be taxed in Town of Los Gatos Tax Rate A, including
taxes for existing bonded indebtedness.
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby di-
rected, pursuant to Section 57200 of the Government Code, to prepare under seal
a certified copy of this resolution, giving the date of passage, and immediate-
ly transmit same along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section
54902.5 of the Government Code to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency
Formation Commission of Santa Clara County.

Town of Los Gatos held on 6th day of February 1989_ by the

BEGINNING at the Northeastern corner of Lot 13, Tract 328, recorded
in Book 10 of Maps, page 56, Santa Clara County Records; thence the
following courses and distances:
I. S 330 18' 00" w 135.69 ft.; thence
2. N 730 20' 45" W 95.12 ft.; thence

4. to a tangent curve concave to the Northeast with
a radius of 22.35 ft. and a central angle of 1060
