A RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING ENGINEER'S REPORT
UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE AND
FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING THEREON
TOWN OF LOS GATOS
Downtown Parking Assessment District
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara,
California, that
WHEREAS, as directed by Resolution No. 1987 -12, adopted on February 17, 1987,
a report under Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code has been completed and
presented to this Council, and it has examined said report;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT 1S ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said report is preliminarily approved and ordered filed with the Town Clerk,
who shall endorse thereon the fact and date of this approval.
2. That Monday, March 23, 1987, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the regular
meeting place of this Council, Council Chambers, Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, Los
Gatos, California, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place that this Council will
hold the hearing upon said approved report.
3. Said Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of the hearing on said report, in the
form provided by law, by mailing copies of said notice at least thirty days prior to the date
of the hearing, postage prepaid, to all persons owning real property which is proposed to
be assessed whose names appear on the last equalized assessment roll for general taxes
available on the date said report was commenced, at their addresses as shown upon
such roll, or as known to said Clerk. If any parcel of land is assessed on said roll as
owner unknown, no notice need be sent for such parcel unless the name and address of a
person claiming an interest in such property has been filed with said Clerk, in which event
notice shall be mailed to such person and address.
