February 9, 2016
Dear Sirs,
We live at 15111 Los Gatos Blvd and our home of 25 years is destined to be demolished for the North 40
development. We thought we would be here forever. We are 75 and 76 years old and I'm having
surgery in April. We are hoping that you will give us as much notice as possible as to when we will need
to be out of our home. We need time to find something we can afford without having to move away
from our family. We are at a time in our lives where we will need to start relying on our family more
and more often. After 25 years of accumulation, we will need more time than your average apartment
dweller. Please keep us updated as much as possible. We don't want to leave sooner than we have to
as it's our home and we love it here.
Sincerely,
John and Joyce Allen

Subject: North Forty Story Poles
Dear Ms. Moseley,
We are not in favor of an exception that minimizes the volume of the structure on
the site. I think we all need to really "see" what will be there.
We also think we should advocate for lovely restaurants and fun nightlife - walking
distance!! Personally, if we end up with a big box store like a Costco or something,
traffic will be large issue on not only LG Blvd but on Lark - even more than it is
now!!

Subject: North 40 potential exemption to story poles
Our family is opposed to the exception. We are a home in close proximity to the North 40. Homeowners and all
other developers in town are required to use the traditional story pole method for a very good reason, it truly
illustrates the extent of the new building that will occupy the space. Requesting an exception suggests
developers do not want interested parties (stakeholders) to observe the breadth/width/height of the proposed
project. As a local stakeholder, I believe we should be able to easily view the mass and scale of the project as
should town planners and other stakeholders.
Thank you,

Subject: North Forty Story Poles/ No Exceptions!
Dear Ms. Moseley & Los Gatos Town Council,
Our family, and several neighbors that we have spoken to, are vehemently
opposed to any exception to our town story pole policy.
We occupy a home in close proximity to the North 40. Homeowners and all other
developers in town are required to use the traditional story pole method for a very good
reason, it truly illustrates the extent of the new building that will occupy the space.
Requesting an exception suggests developers do not want interested parties
(stakeholders) to observe the breadth /width /height of the proposed project. As a local
stakeholder, I believe we should be able to easily view the mass and scale of the
project as should town planners and other stakeholders.
Respectfully,
Crumpton Family, Cathy & Tom
