SUBJECT: INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE AD HOC CITIZEN
COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Conduct an interview and appointment process for the Ad Hoc Citizen Committee.
DISCUSSION:
On October 20, 2015, Council will interview applicants for Ad Hoc Citizen Committee.
Attached is a list of the applicant names. The proposed schedule allows five minutes per
applicant.
Following the interviews, Council may appoint applicants at the regular meeting. On September
15, 2015, Council accepted staff's recommendation to establish an Ad Hoc Citizen Committee
with two Council Members and three members of the public. The Council may choose to modify
this recommendation and elect to appoint less than three citizens to the committee.
CONCLUSION:
It is recommended that Council interview and appoint applicants to the Ad Hoc Citizen
Committee.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
Is not a project defined under CEQA, and no further action is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.
