RECOMMENDATI
Approve Town Council Meeting Schedule for 2013/2014 Fiscal Year.
BACKGROUND:
In 2004, the Town Council canceled July meetings for summer recess. In 2005, Council
canceled the first meeting in January of each year due to the light level of staffing over the
holidays. This situation is continuing given holiday closures. The attached schedule reflects
these annual cancellations.
The attached schedule does not show dates for the annual Council Retreat, Boards /Commissions
Retreat, or Special Meetings of the Town Council. In past years, the Retreats have generally
been held early in the calendar year.
