�pW N p� <br />:jyjaW t� <br />COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />DATE: NOVEMBER t9,2010 <br />TO: MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: 12/6/10 <br />ITEM NO: 3 <br />FROM: GREG LARSON, TOWN MANAGER <br />0 1 - =­ <br />SUBJECT: PPW JOB NO. 10 -12 —PROPOSITION 113 FUNDED CURB, GUTTER, AND <br />SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT 421- 813 -0209 <br />AUTHORIZE THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE CERTIFICATE OF <br />ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION ACCEPTING THE WORK <br />OF RP ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND AUTHORIZE <br />RECORDING BY THE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize the Town Manager to execute Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of Completion <br />accepting the work of RP Engineering Construction Company and authorize recording by the <br />Clerk Administrator. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The adopted Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for FY 2010/12 — 2014/15 designates funding <br />for concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk repair and replacement project and is consistent with the <br />Town's goals to improve public safety. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On June 21, 2010, the Town Council awarded a construction contract to RP Engineering <br />Construction Company for this project.
