~pWN OF <br />~W 1~ <br />!ps °~ASpS COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />MEETING DATES/10 <br />ITEM NO: <br />ADDENDUM <br />DATE: Apri12, 2010 <br />TO: MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL <br />FROM: GREG CARSON, TOWN MANAGER <br />~~' <br />SUBJECT: ADOPT A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2010/11 <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Staff received notification on Friday from the Santa Clara County Office of Affordable Housing <br />that the Town's CDBG allocation for FY 2010/11 would be adjusted from the numbers originally <br />provided. It appears at this time that the allocation will be increased by approximately $10,000; <br />however, staff is not confident that these are the final numbers. Therefore, staff recommends <br />that Council adopt the recommendation of the Community Services Commission to leave <br />funding for the nonprofits, Housing Conservafion Program, and program administration at status <br />quo. Staff further recommends that any adjustment made to the Town's allocation, whether an <br />increase or a decrease, be reflected in the allocation to the Americans with Disabilities Act <br />(ADA) compliance project in Pageant Park.
