4 - CBDG Funds - Addendum~pWN OF ~W 1~ !ps °~ASpS COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT MEETING DATES/10 ITEM NO: ADDENDUM DATE: Apri12, 2010 TO: MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL FROM: GREG CARSON, TOWN MANAGER ~~' SUBJECT: ADOPT A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2010/11 DISCUSSION: Staff received notification on Friday from the Santa Clara County Office of Affordable Housing that the Town's CDBG allocation for FY 2010/11 would be adjusted from the numbers originally provided. It appears at this time that the allocation will be increased by approximately $10,000; however, staff is not confident that these are the final numbers. Therefore, staff recommends that Council adopt the recommendation of the Community Services Commission to leave funding for the nonprofits, Housing Conservafion Program, and program administration at status quo. Staff further recommends that any adjustment made to the Town's allocation, whether an increase or a decrease, be reflected in the allocation to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance project in Pageant Park. A revised resolution is attached.
