ORDINANCE NO. 319 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY AND ESTABLISHING THE DUTIES OF <br />THE BUILDING INSPECTOR. <br />The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ordain <br />as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The Building Inspector shall receive a salary <br />of $240.00 per month as his compensation and mileage at the rate <br />of eight cents (8¢) per mile, and said salary and mileage may be <br />.....,raised or lowered by resolution of the Town Council of the Town <br />of Los Gatos. <br />SECTION 2> The Building Inspector shall enforce the <br />provisions of the Uniform Building Code as adopted by reference <br />by ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos and act as gas inspector, <br />plumbing inspector, electrical inspector, and inspect sewer con- <br />nections; and in addition, have the duty of investigating and. <br />reporting to the health officer for the Town of Los Gatos any <br />violations of the laws affecting the health, safety, and general <br />welfare; and the Building Inspector is hereby charged with the <br />enforcement of the provisions of Part 1, Division 13 of the Health <br />and Safety Code, commonly known as the State Housing Act; and in <br />addition, such other duties as may be established by resolution <br />of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos. <br />SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be Dublished once in the <br />Los Gatos Daily Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed <br />and published in the Town of Los Gatos. <br />Introduced at a continued regular meeting of the Town <br />Council of the Town of Los Gatos, held July 10, 1950, and passed <br />and adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town <br />of Los Gatos held on the 17th day of July, 1950, by the following <br />vote: <br />-I <br />
