a <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3r~3 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 247 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS REGULATING <br />TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT THER fTITH". <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOLTN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That Section 33 of Ordinance No. 247 entitled, <br />"An Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos Regulating Traffic Upon <br />the Public Streets and Repealing all ordinances in Conflict <br />Therewith" passed and adopted by the Town Council of The Town <br />of Los Gatos on the 5th day of August, 1940, be, and the same <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 33. U-TURNS IN CERTAIN DISTRICTS. No vehicle <br />shall be turned at any time at any of the following <br />intersections in a complete circle or in such manner <br />as to proceed in the opposite direction upon the street <br />upon which said vehicle is travelling at the time of <br />entering said intersection: North and South Santa <br />Cruz Avenues with West Main Streets; North Santa Cruz <br />Avenue t,=ith Elm Street; North Santa Cruz Avenue with <br />Bean; West lain Street with University Avenues East <br />Main Street with College Avenue. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />farce thirty (30) days from and after date of its passage and. <br />before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after- .its passage it <br />shall be published once T•.rith the names of the members voting for <br />and against the same in the a, news- <br />paper published in the Town of Los Gatos. <br />Introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of <br />the Town of Los Gatos, State of California, held on the 1 L-2 <br />day of , 1949. <br />
