AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
SECTION 16 -43.2 OF THE LOS GATOS TOWN CODE FOR
ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ord6in as
fol lows :
Section 1 .
Based on an engineering and traffic survey„ Section 16 -43.2
of the Los Gatos Town Code entitled ''Establishing Speed Limits on
Certain Streets," is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. Insert the following location into the list of streets
under the heading of PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED
25 MPH: Wimbledon Drive from Winchester Boulevard to
Wedgewood Avenue.
Section 2.
The Director of Public Works shall post appropriate signs
giving notice hereof on such streets at the locations he determines
are suitable.
Section 3.
All speed limits for streets within the Town established by
prior resolutions or ordinance of the Town in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby rescinded and superseded.
Section 4
The Town Clerk shall attest to the adoption of this ordinance.
This ordinance shall be published once in th,e Los Gatos Times- Saratoga
Observer, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the Town of Los Gatos, within fifteen (15) days
of its final passage, and this ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days following its final passage.
The foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly introduced
at a meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, held
on the 21st day of February , 1978,
PASSED AND ADOPTED as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the
6th day of March
, 1978, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Mark Bo DiDuca, Mardi
Gualtieri, John Bo Lochner and Albert B. Smith
NOES : COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS
None
