RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
MODIFYING RATES FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, The Town of Los Gatos has contracted with the Green Valley
Disposal Company, Inc. for the collection of garbage and rubbish in Town; and
WHEREAS, the Green Valley Disposal Company, Inc. has requested a rate
modification for refuse collection services in the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager has examined the proposed modification and
determined that it is in fact reasonable; and
WHEREAS, Council has elected to incorporate the costs for implementation
of all solid waste management services in the solid waste management rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The rates for residential solid waste management services in the Town
of Los Gatos shall increase over the rates established in Resolution
1992 -130 effective February 1, 1995; new rates are attached as Exhibit
A.
2. The rates for commercial solid waste management services in the
Town of Los Gatos
shall increase from

attached as Exhibit B.

3. The rates for drop -off box solid waste management services in the
Town of Los Gatos shall increase over the rates in Resolution 1992-
130 effective February 1, 1995; new rates are attached as Exhibit C.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1992 -130 be repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 17th day of January, 1995, by the following vote:
