RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN MANAGER TO
ACCEPT TRANSFER OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY AT BLOSSOM HILL AND
ROBERTS ROADS FROM THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA
WHEREAS, in 1961, the Town conveyed portions of the streets then known as Williams
Street and Roberts Road to the County of Santa Clara so that the County could acquire
property and construct what has become Blossom Hill Road; and
WHEREAS, the condition on that conveyance was that the County would then re-
transfer the road and property acquired back to the Town for the Town street system; and
WHEREAS, the County acquired property and constructed the new roadway and
conveyed the road and property to the Town, which the Town accepted in 1964; and
WHEREAS, the County conveyance did not clearly reconvey what was shown on Parcels
D and G on the County acquisition map so that title to those 2 parcels were clouded; and
WHEREAS, the County has now executed a grant deed to the Town of Parcels D and
G in order to finally complete the intended project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Manager is authorized and directed to accept the conveyance of Parcels
D and G by grant deed as contained in Exhibit A hereto.
2. The Town Clerk is directed to record the grant deed and acceptance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of February, 1995 by the following vote:
