RESOLUTION 2014 -065 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL <br />OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS <br />WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FOR THE TOWN'S BICYCLE /PEDESTRIAN AND COMPLETE STREETS MOBILITY <br />MASTER PLANS PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council is eligible to receive federal and /or State funding for <br />certain transportation planning related plans, through the California Department of <br />Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS, a Fund Transfer Agreement is needed to be executed with the California <br />Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed through the Transportation <br />Planning Grant Programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos wishes to delegate authorization to execute these <br />agreements and any amendments thereto up to a total Town matching cost of $25,000; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los <br />Gatos, authorize the Town Manager, or designee, to execute all Fund Transfer Agreements and <br />any amendments thereto with the Department of Transportation. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of <br />Los Gatos held on the 7th day of October, 2014 by the following vote: <br />COUNCIL MEMBERS: <br />AYES: Marcia Jensen, Diane McNutt, Joe Pirzynski, Barbara Spector, Mayor Steve Leonardis <br />NAYS: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />
