RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR REVISION OF COMPLIANCE
DATES FOR UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1976 -2 ALONG
UNIVERSITY AVENUE FROM W. MAIN STREET TO MILES AVENUE
WHEREAS, Article III of Chapter 32 (Section 32 -14 through 32 -23)of
the Los Gatos Town Code, provides procedure for the establishment of
underground utility districts and requires a public hearing for consid-
eration of such districts; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council established Underground Utility District
No. 1976 -2 on February 7, 1977, by adopting Ordinance No. 1345; and
WHEREAS, the Town staff is recommending that the compliance dates for
said District be changed as described in the Notice of Hearing attached
hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing w -11 be held on
April 3, 1978, at the meeting of the Town Council beginning at 7:30 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos,
California, to consider revision of the compliance dates for said Underground
Utility District No. 1976 -2.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to notify
all affected property owners and utilities, at least thirty (30) days in
advance of said hearing, by mailing each a "Notice of Hearing" in the
same form as that notice annexed hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos on the 21st day of February 1978, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Ruth Cannon, Mark B. DiDuca, Mardi
Gualtieri, John B. Lochner and Albert B. Smith
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on
April 3, 1978, at the meeting of the Town Council beginning at 7:30
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street,
Los Gatos, California, to consider revision of the compliance dates for
removal of Foles and overhead wires and associated overhead structures
from the public streets, alleys, or ways, and the underground installation
of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, or similar
or associated services, within the area designed "Underground Utility
District No. 1970 -2."
