RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CERTIFYING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, ADOPTING A
MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM, AND
AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN TO CHANGE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FROM PUBLIC TO OFFICE PROFESSIONAL
FOR A PROPERTY AT 375 KNOWLES DRIVE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65353, the Town Council
conducted a public hearing for consideration of amendments to the General Plan on
August 5, 2014.
WHEREAS, the General Plan Committee recommended that the land use
designation be changed to Office Professional as that designation allows the most
flexibility for future uses; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council accepted the report of the Planning
Commission's recommendation on the proposed General Plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council considered all facts and information related to a
request to change the General Plan the land use designation for the property at 375
Knowles Drive from Public to Office Professional as shown on Exhibit A.
RESOLVED, the Town Council certified the Environmental Impact Report
entitled 375 Knowles Drive Residential Planned Development; and
RESOLVED, the Town Council adopted the Mitigation Monitoring and
Reporting Program for 375 Knowles Drive Residential Planned Development; and
RESOLVED, the Town Council finds that (a) the proposed General Plan
amendment is internally consistent with the existing goals and policies of the General
Plan and its corresponding elements and (b) that all proceedings have been conducted in
compliance with the provisions of Government Code Section 65350 et seq.; and
RESOLVED, the Town Council hereby changes the land use designation of the
General Plan as shown on Exhibit A from Public to Office Professional.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th day of September, 2014, by the
following vote:
