RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCILOF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
TO REJECT BIDS FOR PPW JOB NO. 04 -60 — PROJECT 0608
BALZER FIELD REST ROOM REMODEL AND EXPANSION AND
AUTHORIZE STAFF TO RE- ADVERTISE THE PROJECT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, bids were sought in conformance with State and Town law for PPW Job No. 04 -60
- Balzer Field Restroom Remodel and Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, Santa Clara Valley Corporation submitted a bid to the Clerk Administrator on
February 14, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted was deemed unacceptable on the basis of cost far in excess of the
project budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, that Council reject the bid and authorize staff to re- advertise
for bids for PPW Job No. 04 -60 — Balzer Field Rest Room Remodel and Expansion Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, held on the 20th day of February, 2007 by the following vote:
