AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING SECTION 16 -43.2 OF THE LOS
GATOS TOWN CODE FOR ESTABLISHING
SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Based on an engineering and traffic survey, Section 16 -43.2 of the Los Gatos
Town Code entitled, "Establishing Speed Limits on Certain Streets ", is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:
1. Insert the following location into the list of streets under the heading of
PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT DECLARED 35 MP
Knowles Drive from Pollard Road to Winchester Boulevard.
SECTION 2.
The Director of Parks, Forestry and Maintenance Services shall post appropriate
signs and pavement markings giving notice hereof on such streets at the locations he
determines are suitable.
SECTION 3.
All speed limits for streets within the Town established by prior resolutions or
ordinance of the Town in conflict with this ordinance are hereby rescinded and
superseded.
SECTION 4.
The Town Clerk shall attest to the adoption of this ordinance. This ordinance
shall be published once in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga Observer, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and published in the Town of Los Gatos, within fifteen
(15) days of its final passage, and this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days following its final passage.
The foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly introduced at a meeting of the
Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on - the 1 day of August
1983.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on 1 5 day of August 19 by the fol-
lowing vote:
