ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
CONCERNING TIME OF APPEALS.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1.
Section 30.4 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos
is amended to read:
SEC. 30.4: HEARING BY COUNCIL
The appeal shall be heard by the Council within forty -five
(45) days after the filing of the appeal; provided, that
the Council may continue from time to time any hearing
held by it.
SECTION 2.
Section 30.5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos
is amended to read:
SEC. 30-5: NOTICE OF HEARING
The Clerk shall set the time and place for the public
hearing of the appeal before the Council within forty -
five (45) days of the filing of the appeal, and shall
cause notice of such public hearing to be given in the
same manner as given for the public hearing of the
matter before the Commission. In addition, or if the
hearing of the matter before the Commission did not re-
quire public notice, the Council may direct the Clerk
to give notice of the hearing in such other manner as
it may deem necessary or desirable.
SECTION 3.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT and shall be in Force thirty
(30) days after the date of its adoption. The Town Clerk of the
Town of Los Gatos shall cause this ordinance to be published once
within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Los Gatos Times-
Saratoga Observer, a newspaper of general circulation, published
and circulated in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 3rd day of June 1974•
PASSED AND ADOPTED as an Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, at a regular meeting of the Town Council, held on the
l7th day of June 1974 by the following vote:
