Ordinance 1159 - AMENDING SECTION 31 -10 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RELATING TO DEPOSIT OF MONEY WITH THE TOWN FOR THE PURCHASE, PLANTING AND MAINTENANCE OF STREET TREESORDINANCE NO. 11 59
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
SECTION 31 -10 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS RELATING TO DEPOSIT OF MONEY WITH THE
TOWN FOR THE PURCHASE, PLANTING AND MAINTENANCE
OF STREET TREES.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 31-10, Paragraph (c) , be, and. the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(c) The applicant shall be required to deposit an amount of
$.55 per lineal foot of front roadway (as designated on
tract map) with the Town for the purchase, planting,
and maintenance of the specified number of street trees,
as determined by using criteria set up in this section.
SECTION Z.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT and shall be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its adoption. The Town Clerk of the Town
of Los Gatos shall cause this ordinance to be published once within
fifteen (15) days after its ad.option, in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga
Observer, a newspaper of general circulation, published and. circulated.
in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regw 1 gj meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 3rd d.ay of June ,
1974.
