ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATES CONCERNING
PUBLICATION OF NOTICES.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATES DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.5 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of
Los Gatos is amended to read:
SEC. 2.5 PREZONING OF UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY
Unincorporated territory adjoining the Town
may be prezoned for the purpose of determining
the zoning that will apply to such property in
the event of a subsequent annexation to the
Town. The method of accomplishing such prezoning
shall be the same as provided by this Ordinance
and by applicable state law for zoning within
the Town. Such zoning shall become effective
at the same time that the annexation becomes
effective.
SECTION 2.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT and shall be in force
thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption. The Town
Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos shall cause this Ordinance
- to be published once within fifteen (15) days after
its adoption, in the Los Gatos Times - Saratoga Observer,

a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated
in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 18th day of November ,
1974.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as an ordinance of the Town of Los
Gatos, California, at a regular meeting of the Town Council,
held on the 2nd day of December 1974, by the
following vote:
