ORDINANCE NO. 1188 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS CONCERNING <br />NONCONFORMING SETBACKS. <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN: <br />SECTION 1. <br />Section 28.2.2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of <br />Los Gatos is amended to read: <br />SEC. 28.2.2 NONCOMPLIANCE WITH SETBACK REQUIREMENTS <br />Any building erected in compliance with ordinance <br />requirements applicable at the time of construction <br />which encroaches within an area prescribed by front, <br />side or rear setback regulations imposed subsequent <br />to the time of construction by this Ordinance, shall <br />be deemed to be in compliance therewith. Expansion <br />or extension of such buildings within such subsequently <br />proscribed front, side or rear setbacks may be approved <br />by the Planning Director for single family and duplex <br />dwellings or by the Architecture and Site Committee <br />for all other uses pursuant to architecture and site <br />approval under Article 25, if it is found that such <br />extension or expansion would be compatible with the <br />surrounding neighborhood. <br />SECTION 2. <br />THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT and shall be in force <br />-1- <br />
