ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
CONCERNING DEFINITION OF LOT
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Section 2,00.295 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of
Los Gatos is amended to read:
S EC. 2.00.295 LOT
A parcel of land which under the terms of the
Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances lawfully
exists separately from other land. However,
regardless of the lawfulness of the original division
of land, a parcel of land is not a lot when (1) it
does not meet the requirements of this Ordinance
or of the Subdivision Ordinance, concerning area,
(2) it shares a common boundary with other land under
the same or substantially the same ownership, and
(3) either the parcel in question or the parcel with
which it shares a common boundary is substantially
unimproved, or a principal building is built across
the common boundary.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect and shall be in force
thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption. The Town
so
Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos shall cause this Ordinance to be
published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in
the Los Gatos Times.-Saratoga Observer, a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on the — 16th _ day of August 0 1976.
