ORDINANCE OF THE 'TOWN OF LOS GATOS
PROVIDING FOR PARKING RESTRICTIONS
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1.
Under the authority granted by Vehicle Code sections 22506,
22507, 22507.5 and 22519, section 16 -47 of the Town Code is
amended to read:
SEC. 16 -47 PARKING REGULATION
When provided by resolution of the Town Council and
appropriate signs or markings are in place giving notice
thereof no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle
on any highway in the Town or in any off - street parking
facility which the Town owns or operates at a time or
for a longer period than such resolution provides.
The definition of highway is that provided by Vehicle
Code section 360.
SECTION 2.
Sections 16 -45, 16 -50, 16 -51, 16 -52, 16 -53 and 16 -53.1
of the Code of the Town of Los Gatos are repealed.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall take effect and shall be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its adoption. The Town Clerk of the
Town of Los Gatos shall cause this Ordinance to be published once
within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Los Gatos
Times- Saratoga Observer, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on the
