ORDINANCE NO. 1-446 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING <br />ZONING ORDINANCE REGULATIONS CONCERNING SIGNS <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />Section 3.32.030(2) of the Town of Los Gatos Zoning Ordinance <br />is amended to read: <br />Section 3.32.030 REAL ESTATE SIGNS (Continued) <br />(2) Non - illuminated, off -site, portable signs directing <br />customers to the location of an open house which is for sale <br />are permitted, unlimited in total number, but limited to one <br />double faced sign per corner of an intersection or zoning <br />plot. The signs shall not exceed an area of 1 square foot <br />per face and shall not be more than 4 feet high. Open house <br />signs shall contain no individual, or individual company <br />advertising. Prior permission shall be obtained from the <br />property owner if the sign is to be placed on a privately <br />owned parcel. The signs shall be removed each day after the <br />closing of the open house. Open house signs are an exception <br />to the rule prohibiting off- premises signs and signs on public <br />property. <br />Section 3.33.070 <br />is amended to read: <br />Section 3.33.070 <br />Off- premises <br />3.32.030(2), 3.3 <br />SECTION 2. <br />of the Town of Los Gatos Zoning Ordinance <br />OFF- PREMISES SIGNS <br />signs, except those authorized by sections <br />2.070, 3.34.020, 3.34.030 and 3.37.015. <br />10- 30 -79j <br />
