AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING LOT MERGER
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Subdivision (1) of section 3.10.010 of the zoning ordinance of
the Town of Los Gatos is amended to read:
(1) Regardless of the lawfulness of the original division of the
land, a parcel of land is not a lot when (a) it does not meet the
requirements of this ordinance or of the subdivision ordinance concerning
area, (b) it shares a common boundary with other land under the same or
substantially the same ownership, and (c) either the parcel in question
or the parcel with which it shares a common boundary is substantially
unimproved, or a principal building is built across the common boundary.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted.
Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause
it to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published
and circulation in the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos on July 16,1979 _ and adopted by the following
vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular
meeting of the Town Council on August 6,1979
