ORDINANCE N0. 143 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS <br />AMENDING RULES CONCERNING USE OF <br />ROLLER SKATES, TOY VEHICLES <br />OR SIMILAR DEVICES <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />Section 16 -7 of the Town Code is amended to reads <br />Section 16 -7 Using Rolle Skates, Toy Vehicles, etc. <br />in Business District Proh <br />It is unlawful for any person on roller skates <br />or on a toy vehicle or similar device to goon a <br />roadway in any business district, except when lawfully <br />crossing a roadway in a, crosswalk. <br />For the purposes of this section the word roadway <br />is defined by Vehicle Code section 530, and the word <br />crosswalk is defined by Vehicle Code section 275. <br />SECTION 2. <br />This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is <br />adopted. Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted the <br />Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper <br />of general circulation published and circulated in the Town. <br />This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of <br />the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on June 18, 1979 <br />and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town <br />®1- 6 -12 -79 <br />PWH /j <br />
