ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING RULES CONCERNING USE OF
ROLLER SKATES, TOY VEHICLES
OR SIMILAR DEVICES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 16 -7 of the Town Code is amended to reads
Section 16 -7 Using Rolle Skates, Toy Vehicles, etc.
in Business District Proh
It is unlawful for any person on roller skates
or on a toy vehicle or similar device to goon a
roadway in any business district, except when lawfully
crossing a roadway in a, crosswalk.
For the purposes of this section the word roadway
is defined by Vehicle Code section 530, and the word
crosswalk is defined by Vehicle Code section 275.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is
adopted. Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted the
Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in the Town.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on June 18, 1979
and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town
