AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING ORDINANCE 938
WHICH AMENDED THE ZONING ORDINANCE EFFECTING
ZONE CHANGE NO. 17 FROM R- 1:40,000 and RM:8000 to "R.P.D."
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
Ordinance number 867 is hereby amended to reclassify the following described
property from "R -1, 40,000 and RM 8000" to "R.P.D. ":
That property consisting of approximately 10.84 acres, located west and
north of Wood Road and south of Broadway, in the Town of Los Gatos, being
Assessor's Parcel No. 510 -47 -1 and 510 -47 -26 as recorded in Book 510 at
page 47 of the Santa Clara County Assessor's Books Said property is more
fully depicted and described in the map and official proposed Development
Plan, a certified copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Town of
Los Gatos, California.
Said change shall be in accordance with Article 20, and all other provisions of
the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos, and is further expressly subject to
all terms and conditions of the Proposed Development Plan as approved by the
Planning Commission of the Town of Los Gatos on January 17, 1968.
SECTION II.
Ordinance'number 867 of the Town of Los Gatos is hereby amended in conformity
with the provisions of Article 31 of this ordinance by amending the zoning map in
accordance with the change of zone shown on the map attached as "Exhibit A ".
SECTION III.
This zone amendment is adopted by ordinance pursuant to public hearings before
the Town Planning Commission and the Town Council.
SECTION IV.
Residence in this project shall be in conformity with the licensure requirements
for Residential Care Facilities For The Elderly (Zoning Ordinance Section 2.00.402,
or with any subsequent state licensing program applicable to the project involving
arrangements for the care and supervision of older persons as defined in such state
licensing program. In the event that the use of the project shall at any time no
longer be subject to such a state licensing program, residence in the project shall
be restricted to persons who are senior citizens as defined by Zoning Ordinance
Section 2.00.420.
SECTION V.
This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 938.
SECTION VI.
This ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15
days after this ordinance is adopted the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published
once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the Town.
