ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING SECTION 2.30.025 REGARDING
DELEGATION OF CERTAIN FINANCIAL DUTIES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
Section 2.30.025(a) and 2.30.025(b)(2) Delegation of Certain Duties are amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2.30.025. Delegation of certain duties.
(a) Signing check- warrants. The Finance Director shall sign all check- warrants drawn on the
Town Treasury. The Town Treasurer shall countersign all check- warrants drawn on the Town
Treasury. In the absence of either the Finance Director or the Town Treasurer, their respective
appointed deputies are authorized to sign check- warrants as prescribed herein. If the Town
Treasurer or the Treasurer's appointed deputy does not sign check- warrants within the
prescribed time limits established by Town Council resolution, the Town Mayor or Vice -
Mayor may review and sign check - warrants.
(b) Town bank accounts. All Town bank accounts will have any of the following two (2)
signatories. Any two (2) of the following are required to process checks /warrants:
(1) Town Treasurer;
(2) Finance Director;
(3) Mayor.
SECTION II
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
on September 5, 2000 and adopted by the following vote as an Ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on September 18, 2000.
