AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
SECTION 1.9.20.010(c) OF ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 19 OF THE TOWN CODE TO
CHANGE THE TERM OF OFFICE FOR STUDENT PARK COMMISSIONERS
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1
Section 19.20.010(c) of the Town Code should be amended to read as follows:
(c) The Commission shall, by resolution, adopt a procedure regulating the
recruitment of applicants for the positions and the method by which it will choose those
candidates recommended for appointment. The terms of office of the student members
shall be one (1) year, commencing October first and ending September thirty.
SECTION II
This ordinance takes effect thirty (30) days after it is adopted and shall be published
once in the Los Gatos Weekly, a newspaper of general circulation, published in the Town
of Los Gatos within fifteen (15) days.
The foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Los
Gatos Town Council on the 7th day of September, 1993 by the following vote:
