RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF AN OIL
PAINTING VALUED AT $5,000 GIVEN TO THE LIBRARY BY EVELYN BOND IN MEMORY
OF HER LATE HUSBAND JAMES BOND.
WHEREAS, Evelyn Bond has donated an oil painting to the Town in memory of
her late husband James Bond; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Bond has placed a value on the painting of $5,000, and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. James Bond were the owners the James Bond Gallery on East
Main Street; and
WHEREAS, the painting has a floral subject and was done by artist W. Jonathan, .and
WHEREAS, the painting is beautifully displayed above the main staircase at the Library;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, that the Town Manager is authorized to accept the donation of the oil painting from Evelyn Bond
in memory of her late husband James, which is currently displayed at the Library.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6`" day of March, 2006 by the following vote:
