OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
TO ADOPT RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK OF
J. J. R. CONSTRUCTION, INC..
FOR PROJECT 02-03 CURB, GUTTER, AND SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION AND
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK AND NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR
RECORDING BX THE TOWN CLERK
WHEREAS, on August 20, 2001, the Town Council awarded a construction
contract to
J. J. R. Construction, Inc. of San Mateo, California for Project 02-03 -Curb, Gutter, and
Sidewalk Reconstruction and
WHEREAS, J. J. R. Construction, Inc. has satisfactorily completed all work
under said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. All work completed by J. J, R, Construction, Inc. on said project is hereby accepted as
complete pursuant to the plans and specifications -for such project.
2. The Town Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Certificate of Acceptance
and Notice of Completion attached as Exhibit A hereto.
3. The Town Clerk is directed to transmit this Certificate of Acceptance and Notice of
Completion to the Recorder of Santa Clara County for recording,
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 19t" day of February, 2002, by the following vote:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
We do hereby certify that J. J. R. Construction, Inc. substantially .completed the work on
December 2l, 2001 for Project No. 02-03 -Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Reconstruction called for
in the original contract with the Town of Los Gatos dated September 18, 2001.. The work is listed
in -the specifications prepared by the Town of Los Gatos and generally consisted of furnishing all
labor, materials, tools, equipment, and .services required for completion of Slurry Seal and related
street improvements in the TOWN OF LOS GATOS, County of Santa Clara, State of California
and was completed, approved and accepted on February 19, 2002.
The Surety on the bond accompanying the contract is as follows:
Faithful Performance and Labor & Material Bond No. 905-37-377 issued by Employees
Insurance of Wausau, a mutual company.
