RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LDS GATOS
AUTHORIZING'THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
DEBORAH LINGO-1VIC CORMICI~ CONSULTING FOR CONTRACT
PLANNING SERVICES
FOR TIIE GENERAL PLAN IMPLEMENTATION.
RESOLVED, that the Town of Los Gatos Town Council adopted the General Plan 2000 in
.July 2000; and
RESOLVED, that the General Plan 2000 includes implementing strategies that require
.action and/or completion of tasks; and
RESOLVED, that the Town Council approved the Implementation Plan on March i 9, 2001,
including the hiring of a project manager; and
RESOLVED, that the Director of Community Development reviewed proposals from
qualified contract planners, several of whom were interviewed by the Director and the Town
Manager; and
RESOLVED, that Deborah Ungo-McCormick of Ungo-IVIcCormiclc Consulting was
.determined to be the most qualified consultant to be the project manager for the General Plan
implementation based on her experience and qualifications, and her availability; and
RESOLVED, by the Town Council that the TOWN OF LOS GATOS enter into an
agreement for contract planning services (as listed in the scope ofworlc attached as Exhibit A).
FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Town Council that the Town Manager is authorized and
directed to execute an agreement for contract planning services for the General Plan implementation
in behalf of the TOWN OF LOS GATOS.

May, 2001 by the following vote:

Scope of Services;
Deborah Ungo-McCot7niclc, Ungo-McCormick Consulting, shall provide contract planning
services to serve as project manager for the Community Developrnerit Department of the Town
of Los Gatos to assist with the .implementation of 43 ley strategies of the 2000 General Plan that
have been targeted for completion within the next. two-years. This .scope of services includes
attendance at meetings, preparation of workprograms; status reports and staff reports;. attendance
at meetings as required; coordination of subconsultants, coordination of outreach programs and
other activities. as required for successful completion of this project.
It is anticipated that services shall be for a minimum of 8 hours up to a maximum of 20 hours per
week and up to a period of approximately two (2) year or as :required for the implementation of
the policies and programs outlined in the 2000 General-Plan. Additional hours and scope of
services may be .authorized by the Community Development Director as required for the
successful completion of tasks. Work shall be performed through a combination of hours at the
Town of .Los Gatos Community Development office (ot1-site) and at an off-site office as
determined by mutual agreement with the Community.IDevelopment Director.
Charge Rate:
The charge rate for this work is $75 per hour. Invoices for work shall be on time and materials
basis .and shall be submitted and payable on monthly basis.
Reinrburs~bles;
Travel expenses are billed at a rate of 0..33¢ per anile for all travel required by the client in the
completion oftaslcs related to this work.
Direct expenses are billed at cost (i.e. reproduction costs, photo supplies and film development,
business license cost, etc.)
