RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE I~AKU ASSOCIATES CONTRACT
WHEREAS, KAKU Associates is currently under contract with the Town to
assist in the development of a Parking Management Plan; and
WHEREAS., Council has directed staff to negotiate with various private
property owners in an attempt to improve parking access in the downtown; and
WHEREAS, staff training is desirable to ensure the efficient and effective
implementation of the Parking Management Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town of Los Gatos in the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is authorized, and is
hereby directed to execute an amendment to the existing contract with KAKU
ASSOCIATES for consulting services to negotiate with private property owners on behalf
of the Town for parking rights consistent with phase one of the proposed Parking
Management Plan, and to provide training to Town staff.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 17t'' day of September, 2001 by the following
vote:
