RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANIMAL SERVICES
AGREEIVIENT AMONG THE .HUMANE SOCIETY OF SANTA CLARA VALLEY,
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, THE CITY OF CUPERTINO, THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
THE CITY OF MONTE SERENO, AND THE CITY OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos is a participant in an agreement with the Humane
Society of Santa Clara Valley for animal control services, shelter services, veterinary care, and dead
animal service; and,
WHEREAS, the current agreement will expire on June 30, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley has offered to continue providing
animal control services, sheltering services, veterinary care, and dead animal service for the period of
July 1; 2000 -June 30, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that the Town Manager is authorized, and is hereby
directed, to execute an agreement with the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley for animal control
services, shelter services,. veterinary care, and dead animal service as provided in Exhibit 1, on behalf
of the Town of Los Gatos.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council ofthe Town of Los
Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of February, 2000 by the following vote:
