ORDINANCE NO. 677 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N04 392 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE 'TOWN OF LOS GATOS, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA., STATE OF CALIFORNIA ADOPTING A ZONING OR DISTRICTING PLAN FOR SAID TOWN, WITHIN WHICH CERTAIN REGULATIONS SHALL BE IN EFFECT RELATING TO THE USES OF LAND AND BUILDINGS, HEIGHT LIMITS OF BUILDINGS, AND YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES ABOUT BUILDINGS; REQUIRING THAT CERTAIN PERMITS SHALL BE SECURED FOR CERTAIN OF SUCH BUILDINGS AND USES; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED HEREIN; AND SPECIFYING THE PROCEDURE FOR THE AMENDMENT, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS HEREIN; REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH" THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 392 of the Town of Los Gatos entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A ZONING OR DISTRICTING PLAN FOR SAID TOWN,, WITHIN WHICH CERTAIN REGULATIONS SHALL BE IN EFFECT RELATING TO THE USES OF LAND AND BUILDINGS,, HEIGHT LIMITS OF BUILDINGS, AND YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES ABOUT BUILDINGS; REQUIRING THAT CERTAIN PERMITS SHALL BE SECURED FOR CERTAIN OF SUCH BUILDINGS AND USES; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED HEREIN; AND SPECIFYING THE PROCEDURE FOR THE AMENDMENT, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS HEREIN; REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", passed and adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on the 12th day of (March, 1956, be, and the same is hereby amended by adding new sub-section 14.00 (f) to read as follows: Section 14.00 (f); No building permit shall be issued by the Town Building Inspector based upon plans submitted and approved by the Planning Commission unless application therefor is made within six (6) months of the date the Planning Commission approved the same, as shown upon said plans. The approval by the Planning Commission of such plans shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the applicant does not apply for a building permit and pay the required fee to the butiAding official within six (6) months of the date of approval by the Planning Commission of the said plans under the provisions of this Section. Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days from and after date of its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published once with the names of the members voting for an against the same in the Los Gatos Times_Saratoga Observer, a newspaper published in the Town of Los Gatos. iI
