AN ORDINANCE APPROVIENG THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"CRESCENT HILL NUMBER ONE ANNEXATION"
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS
WHEREAS on the 4th day of April , 13 60 , the Council
of the Town of Los Gatos did pass and adopt a Resolution giving
notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the
.Town of Los Gatos, said territory being therein designated as
"=Crescent Hill Dumber One Annexation" and said action being
taken by the Council of said Town as the legislative body of the
Town.pursuant to a written petition therefore, said Resolution
describing the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be
annexed to said Town; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the said Council of said Town
would hear protests made by any person owning real property with-
in the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing
being not less than twenty nor more than sixty days from the date
of the passage of said Resolution; and

WHEREAS, on the 16th day of Hay l9 60
at the hoar of 8;00 o'clock p.m. in the Los Gatos Council
Chambers is the Town Hall of the Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, said time and place being the
day, hour.and place fixed in said. Resolution for hearing protests
to said annexation, the said Council of said Town did hear and
pass upon all protests made to said proposed annexation and did
determine that no protests to said proposed annexation have been
made by or on behalf of the owners of one-half of the value of
the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the equalized
roll, nor by public and private owners of equal to one-half of

the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as determined by
said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Town of
Los Gatos, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Santa
Clara, and all of the procedural requirements of the annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, particularly Government Code
Sections 35300 and 35314 inclusive have been fully complied with;
NOW, THE FORE, the said Council of the Town of Los Gatos
does hereby approve the annexation of said territory, hereinafter
described, to the Town of Los Gatos and does hereby further ordain
that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the Town of Los
Gatos.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the
Town of Los Gatos is hereby approved, is all that territory situate
in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:

BEGINNING at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 30 of the
subdivision shown upon that certain map entitled "Crescent Hill",
which map was filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California on July 23, 1020, in Book
X of Daps, Pages 46 and 47, said point of beginning being in the
Town Limits of the Town of Los Gatos;
THENCE, running along the Westerly lines of Lots 30 and 22 as
shin upon said map of Crescent- Hill Subdivision, and along the Town
Limits of the Town of Los Gatos, Southerly to the Southwesterly corner
of said Lot 22;
THENCE, Southeasterly along the Southerly line of said Lot 22
and along the Southeasterly prolongation of said Southerly line to
the point of intersection with the center line of Crescent Drive, as
said Drive is shown upon the hereinbef ore mentioned map of Crescent
Hill Subdivision;
THENCE, Northeasterly along the center line of said Crescent
Drive to the point of intersection with the Southerly prolongation of
the Easterly line of said Lot 22,
THENCE, northerly along the Southerly prolongation of said
Easterly line of said Lot 22 and along the Easterly line of said Lot
22, Northerly to the Northeasterly corner thereof, said corner being
also the Southeasterly Corner of Lot 29, Crescent Hill Subdivision;
THENCE, Northerly along.the Easterly line of said Lot 29 and
along the Northerly prolongation of said Easterly lane to the point
of intersection with the center line of Los Cerritos Drive, as said
Drive is shown upon the hereinbefore mentioned map of Crescent Hill
Subdivision;
THENCE, running along the center line of said Los Cerritos Drive
Northwesterly to the most Northeasterly corner of said hereinbefore
mentioned Lot 30, Crescent Hill Subdivision;
THENCE, Northwesterly along the Northerly line of said Lot 30
to the point of beginning.
