ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14 OF
THE TOWN OF LOB GATOS, ENTITLED "SAN ORDI-
NANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT, LEVY
AND COLLECTION OF TAXES OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS".
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
m Section 1. That Sections 81 11, 13 and 16 of the
Ordinance No. 14 of the Town of Los Gatos entitled, "An
Ordinance providing for the Assessment, Levy and Collec-
tion of Taxes, of the Town of Los Gatos, passed and
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Los Gatos
on the 29th day of February, 1888, be and the same are
hereby amended as follows:
Section 2. That in Sections 8, 11 and 13, wherever
the words "five per cents appear therein, there are sub-
stituted therefor the words "six per cents".
:Section 3. That Section 16 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"Section 16. That the Town Tax Collector
shall collect the taxes due on the delinquent list
and six per cent added thereto, and in addition col-
lect Two Dollars ($2.00) on each lot, piece or tract
of land, separately assessed, and on each assessment
of personal property, which money shall be paid into
the general fund of the Town."
Section 4. Publication. This Ordinance shall be
published once in the LOS GATOS-TIMES,-SARATOGA-OBSERVER,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the Town of Los Gatos.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly in-
troduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on the 7th day of October, 1957, and was there-
after at a continued regular meeting held on the 14th day of
October, 1957, duly and regularly adopted by the following vote:
