AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 368 OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS ENTITLED . "SAN ORDINANCE ADOPTING.BY_ REFERENCE
AND MODIFYING THE.1953 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM ELECTRICAL
CORE AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE.1953 EDITIONOF THE
NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE-AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES,"
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. 368 of the Town of Los Gatos
entitled "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE AND MODIFYING
THE 1953 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM ELECTRICAL CODE AND
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1953 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES" passed and
adopted by the Town Council of the Town of 'Los Gatos on
August 2, 1954, be, and the same is hereby amended by
amending Section 3 of the Uniform Electrical Code, 1953,
Edition, which said Code was adopted by reference by said
Ordinance No. 368 to read as follows:
SECTION 3. FEES FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTION
Any person desiring an electrical permit shall,
at the time of filing an application therefor,
pay a fee as required in this section.

No permit shall be issued to any person, firm, cor-
poration or political sub-division unless all fees due
are
paid in full.
A fee of $10.00 shall be paid for each annual
Maintenance Electrician permit at the time when
such permit is issued. Fees for all new work in-
stalled under such a permit since the date of the last
previous inspection shall be paid, according to the
above schedule, at the time when such work is in-
spected; these fees shall be in addition to the fee
paid at the time when the annual permit is issued.

Section 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after date of its passage and
before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage
it shall be published once with the names of the members

voting for and against the same in the LOS GATOS TIMES-SARATOGA-
OBSERVER, a newspaper published in the Town of Los Gatos.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, State of California, held on the day of
1957.
