THE TOWN COUNCIL Or T:?E TOniiv OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of March, 1957, the Council of
the Town of Los Gatos did pass and adopt a Resolution giving notice
of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the Town of
Los Gatos, said territory being therein designated as "BLOSSOi"i HILL
NUIM135 FOUH Al_',T EXATION, " and said action being taken by the Council
of said Town as the legislative body of the Town pursuant to a
written petition therefor, said Resolution describing the boundaries of
the territory so proposed to be annexed to said Town; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution did contain a notice of the day,
hour and place when and where the said Council of said 'T'own would
hear protests made by any person owning; real property within the
territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not
less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of the passage
of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of .April, 1857, at the hour of
:"0 o'clock p.m. in the Los Gatos Town Council Chambers in the Town
Hall of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of
California, said.time and place being the day, hour and place fixed
in said Resolution for hearing protests to said annexation, the said
Council of said Town did hear and pass upon all protests made to
said proposed annexation and did determine that no protests to said
proposed annexation have been made by or on behalf of the owners of
one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as
shown by the last equalized roll, nor by public and private owners
of equal to one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be
annexed as determined by said legislative body; and.

WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Town of Los
Gatos, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Santa Clara, and
all of the procedural requirements of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939, particularly Government Code sections 35300
to 35314 inclusive have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEHEEORE, the said Council of the Town of Los Gatos
does hereby approve the annexation of said territory, hereinafter
described, to the Town of Los Gatos and does hereby further ordain
that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the Town of Los
Gatos.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the Town of
Los Gatos is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:..

All that certain parcel of land situate in the County of Santa
Clara, State of California, describe as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of that certain parcel of
land conveyed by the Argonaut Company to San Jose Abstract & Title
Co.., a corporation, by Deed dated August 8, 1955 and recorded
September 20, 1975 in Book 3283 of Official Records, page 563, Santa
Clara County Records, said Idorthviest corner being in the East line of
vil-at certain parcel of land described in the Tndenture between Robert
S. Smilie and Rozelle L. 3m-ilie, dated March 6, 1935 and recorded
"'arch 12, 1935 in Book 722 of Official Records, at page 304, Santa
C1 ara County Records, said point of beginning being also in the Town
Limits of the Ton of Los Gatos; running thence along the East line
of said last named parcel of land., Northerly to the point of inter-
section thereof with the Southerly line of that certain parcel of
land as described in the Deed from Rozelle L. Jones to Ernest F.
Stockton, dated July 28, 1953 and recorded July 29, 1953 in Book 2692
of Official Records, page 355, Santa Clara County Records; running
thence 1esterly along the Southerly line of said last named parcel
of land to the Southwest corner thereof; thence running Northerly
along the ':westerly line of said. parcel of land so conveyed to
Stockton, to the point of intersection thereof with the center line
of Blossom Hill Road; thence running along the center line of
Blossom Hill Road, Easterly to the point of intersection thereof
with the Westerly line of that certain parcel of land conveyed by
Milton George Francis, et ux, to Clarence M. Miller by Deed dated
December 10, 1953 and recorded January 5, 1954 in Book 27$$ of
Official Records, at page 149, Santa Clara County Records; running
thence along the Westerly line of said Miller parcel, Southerly to
the Southwest corner thereof, said Southwest corner being also the
Northwest corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed by-James E.
Itiason, et ux, to Richard A. Chiappellone by Deed dated May 15, 191$
and recorded July 22, 1948 in Book 1650 of Official Records, at page
520, Santa Clara County Records; running thence along the Northerly

and Easterly lines of said last named parcel of land, Easterly and
Southerly to the Southeast corner thereof; thence ri.inning along the
Southerly prolongation of the Easter-ly line of said parcel of land
so conveyed to Chi appellone, Southerly to the point of intersection
of said Southerly prolonged line with the Tiorthi^:esterly line of
that certain parcel of land conveyed by Gene Echeverria, et ux, to

Clara County Records; running thence along the northwesterly and

and Southerly lines of that certain 0.4912 acre parcel of land con-
veyed by Tilton George rancis,et ux, to Cora A. Schunacher, by Deed
dated August 1, 1914.0 and recorded UgllS-J 15, 1940 in Book 992 of
Official Records, page 549, Santa Clara County Records, Southerly
and Easterly to the Southeast corner thereo_" in the Westerly line
of that certain parcel of land described as Parcel No. 1 in the
Deed from Bruce Hageman, et ux, to Graeme Mac Donald, et ux, dated
April 13, 1950 and recorded April 27, 1950 in Book 1968 of Official
Records, page 540, Santa Clara County Records; running thence along
the Westerly lines of said last named parcel of land the 6 following
courses and distances: S. 9° 211 W 240.31 feet, S. 21° 141 E. 135.73
feet, S. 370 421 E. 100.85 feet, S. 0° 371 W. 27.21 feet, S 57° 021
5511 W. 102.97 feet and S. 15° 551 E. 191.00 feet to the Southwest
corner thereof in the Town Limits Line of the Tow of Los Gatos;
running thence along said Town Limits Line and along the Northerly
line of said parcel of land so conveyed to San. Jose Abstract & Title
Co., hereinabove referred to, Westerly to the point of beginning.
