AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN 12
FOOT ALLEY KNOWN AS WEISER ALLEY IN THE TOM OF LOS GATOS.

THE MIN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That public interest requires, and the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos hereby declares its intention to order,
the vacation of a portion of a twelve-foot alley commonly known
as WEISER ALLEY in the Town of Los Gatos,, which said portion to
be vacated is shown upon a Map bearing the legend: "Proposed
Vacation of a Portion of Weiser Alley", which Map is hereby
approved and is hereby ordered filed in the Office of the Town
Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos; and which said Nap is hereby re-
ferred to for the particulars as to the proposed vacation. Further
reference is made to the Report and Recommendation of the Planning
Commission concerning this matter dated June 25, 1954, on file
with the Town Clerk.
Section 2. That the 5th day of September , 1954, at the hour
of eight o'clock, P.M. of said day, in the Council Chambers at
the Town Hall, in the Town of~ Los Gatos,'` is hereby fixed as the
time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or object-
ing to, the proposed vacation.
Section 3. That the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos is here-
by directed to post, or cause to be posted, conspiciously, along
the line of that portion of WEISER ALLEY proposed to be vacated,
notices of such vacation by posting said notices not more than
300 feet apart, but at least three (3) shall be posted on said
portion of said alley and shall be posted at least ten (10) days
before the time set for public hearing.
Section 4. That in the herein-proposed vacation of a portion of
-said alley, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos hereby

elects to proceed under and in pursuance of the "Street Vaca-
tion Act of 1941", and being Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.
.Section 5. That the portion of said WEISER ALLEY intended
to be ordered vacated is particularly described as follows:
All of that portion of a certain twelve-foot
(12 ft.) alley lying between Lot 21 and Lots
1, 2, and 3, as the same is shown upon a
Map entitled "Subdivision of a part of the
land of W. C. Shore, Esq. in the Town of
Los Gatos, California", filed May 27: 1889,
in Book Dof Maps, at page 109, Official
Records of Santa Clara County; all lying
and being Southeasterly of the Southwesterly
prolongation of the Northwesterly lane of
said Lot 3, as said Lot is shown upon said
Map.
This Ordinance shall be published once in the "Los Gatos
Daily Times", a newspaper of general circulation, printed and cir-
culated in the Town of Los Gatos; within fifteen (15) days of its
passage.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 6th day of July, 1954.
