AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 276 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RELATING TO ZONING.
"iMEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds
and. deems it necessary for the public interest, health, comfort, con-
venience, safety and general welfare to amend the Town Ordinance No. 276
by changing the hereinafter described property hereinafter set forth
in Section 1 hereof from an "R 1'i Residential district to a "C"
Commercial district; and
%-HEREAS, it appears that all of the precedural requirements
of Section 15 of said Ordinance No. 276 have been fully com-olied i,jiith;
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS
Section 1. That Section 4.1 of Ordinance No. 276 of the Town
of Los Gatos, a sectional district map, is hereby amended in part so
that the district and boundaries shown thereon, and- particularly that
certain portion of real property situate in the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa, Clara, State of California, particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a, stake marked "X°d standing on the northerly
line of Church Street and from which stake the northeast erly
line of the Road from Hill, bears N. 79® 50' W. 4.50 feet and
running S. 79° 501 E. along the northerly line of Church
Street 134.00 feet to the southwesterly corner of the parcel
of land of the Tfiethocist Espiscopal Church and running thence
N. 150 30t E. 160.20 feet to the norths~testerly corner of the
parcel of land conveyed to said Methodist Episcopal Church,
and in the southerly line of what is commonly known as the
Goldsworthy Right of T,aa.y, thence S. 80° 45' W. 184.0 feet,
thence S. 4° 251 E. 100 ft. to the place of beginning, and
being a, portion of the Rancho Rinconad.a de Los Gatos.
and now shoi,ln as an "R-116 Residential district on said Sectional
District Ixsap, and being Section 4.1 of said Ordinance No. 276, is and
will be a, "C" Corrmercia.l district, instead of an 1'R-111 Residential
district.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos held on the 20th day of April , 1953, and was there-
after, at a continued regular meeting, held on the 2Z ='A day 44
,1953, duly and regularly ADOPTED by the following
vote:
