1MEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
finds and deems it necessary for the public interest,Yiealth,
comfort, convenience, safety and general welfare to amend the
Town Ordinance No. 276 by changing the hereinafter described
property hereinafter set forth in Section 1 hereof from an
"R-2" Residential district to a. "C" Commercial district; and
by changing the hereinafter described property hereinafter
set forth in Section 2 hereof from an "R-2" Residential district
to a "C" Commerical district; and
ITHEREAS, it appears that all

amended in part so that the district and boundaries shorn thereon,
and particularly that certain portion of real property situate
in the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
particularly described as the area of Saratoga Avenue on the north
side from Monterey Avenue to the City Limits and now shown as
an "R-211 Residential district on said Sectional District Map,
and being Section 4.0 of said Ordinance No. 276, is and will be
a "C" Comroercia.l district, instead of an "R-21' Residential district.
Section 2. That Section 4.2 of Ordinance No. 276 of
the Town of Los Gatos, a sectional district map, is hereby amended
in part so that the district and boundaries shown thereon, and

particularly that certain portion of real property situate in
the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara., State of California,
particularly described as the area of Saratoga Avenue on the
south side from Tait Avenue to the City Limits and now shown as
"R-2" Residential district on said. Sectional District Xlap, and
being Section 4.2 of said Ordinance No. 2,76, is and ,,sill be a

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published once in
LOS GATOS DAILY TIr1ES, a netrspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the Torn of Los Gatos.
