AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 276 OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RELATING TO ZONING.
. IEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos finds
and deems it necessary for the public interest, health, comfort,
convenience, safety and general welfare to amend the Town Ordinance
No. 276 by changing the hereinafter described property hereinafter
set forth in Section 1 hereof from a "Off commercial district to
an uR-20 residential district; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all of the procedural requirements
of Section 13 of said Zoning Ordinance No. 276 have been fully
complied with;
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 4.2 of Ordinance No. 276 of the
Town of Los Gatos, a sectional district map, is hereby amended
in part so that the district and boundaries shown thereon, and
particularly the parcels described as follows:
PARCEL ONE
Beginning at a point on the Southwesterly line of
Broadway distant thereon 146 feet Northwesterly from the
point of intersection thereof with the northwesterly line
of Santa Cruz Avenue, as said Santa Cruz Avenue existed
prior to the widening thereof in. 1944; thence Southwesterly
at right angles with said Southwesterly line of Broadway
136 feet, thence at right angles northwesterly 13 feet,
thence at right angles Southwesterly 14 feet; thence at
right angles Northwesterly 40 feet; to the property line
between lands now or formerly of Laura Virden Van Lone
and that of Guido Barbieri and Mary A. Barbieri, thence
continuing in a projected straight line from the last
described course northwesterly along the Southwesterly
property line of said Barbieri 54 feet; thence at right
angles Northeasterly 150 feet to the Southwesterly line
of Broadway thence Southeasterly along said southwesterly
line of Broadway 144 feet to the point of beginning.

PARCEL TWO
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of
Broadway distant thereon ,Northwesterly 1003 feet from the
point of intersection of the said line of Broadway with the
Northwesterly line . of Santa Cruz Avenue as established by
Deed dated March 13, 1940, and recorded April 6, 1944, in
Book 979 of Official Records, page 159, records of Santa
Clara County, California, executed by Lewis H. Neumann, et
ux, in favor of the State of California; thence from said
point of beginning along said line of Broadway, Northwesterly
113 feet more or less to the most southerly corner of the
parcel of land conveyed by Lewis H. Neumann, et ux, to Mayme
E. Dodge by Deed dated March 19, 1941, and recorded Larch 252
1941 in Book 1030 of Official Records, page 239, Records of
said County; thence N. 290 07 t E. along the southeasterly
line of said Dodge parcel 125.70 feet to the most easterly
corner of said Dodge parcel; thence parallel with the South-
westerly line of Main Street, and 150.030 feet therefrom,
S. 60° 531 E.31 60 feet to the property line between lands
nova or formerly of J. Wa3ier Crider and Lydia B. Crider,
and that of Wilfred A. Leonard and Mary Leonard as described
by Deed dated. October 15, 1949, and recorded October 21,
1949, in Book 1865 of Official Records, page 85, Records of
said County; thence Southwesterly 43.62 feet more or less
along said property line to the most westerly corner of the
parcel of land so conveyed to Leonard; thence along the
Southwesterly line of the parcel of land so conveyed to
Leonard to a point which bears N. 280 44' 30" E. from the
point of beginning; thence S. 28° 441 30" W. 80 feet more
or less to the point of beginning.
and now shown as "C" commercial district on said Sectional District
Map, and being Section 4.2 of said Ordinance No. 276, is and will
be an OR-20 residential district, instead of a "C" commercial
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in the
LOS GATOS DAILY TIMES, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the Town of Los Gatos.
The,above and foregoing ordinances was duly and regularly
introduced at a continued regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 28th day of August, 1950, and
was thereafter on the S day of 1950, at a
regular meeting; duly and regularly adopted by the following
vote:
